PARTS OF THE LETTER REFLECTION

Typography helps designers obtain a greater understanding of vocabulary and the visual harmony of text, as well as the complexity of words. With typography, there are multiple technical terms to know such as: serif, bracket, baseline, cap-height, x-height, ascender, descender, apex, vertex and so forth.

This art of lettering formed from handwriting, each developing as a simple mark with visual characteristics.

I found this document to be very helpful and I feel that I gained a lot more knowledge on the characteristics of letters. I had no idea that each little part of a letter had its own identity and name
